Our primary purpose is to provide food assistance to those in need. For assistance
As long as you live in the Moorabool Shire, have appropriate ID, and are in need of food assistance, you are able to access this service.
We provide a wide range of food and personal items and clients are able to choose from fresh fruit and vegetables, canned and packaged goods and frozen items. The amount given is dependent on the number of household members.
Identification is a MUST. This may include, Driver's Licence and or Centrelink card.
A valid photo ID must be presented at EVERY visit, or other forms of photo ID is a MUST.

No Interest Loans (NILS)
The No Interest Loans Scheme provides people on low incomes with flexible and affordable credit for the purchase of household goods or maintenance, education needs, some health or dental needs, car repairs. NILS loan up to $2,000.
No fees, charges or interest.
Can I get a loan?
Have you lived at your current residence at least three months?
Do you have a current Health Care or Pension Card or are you a current Centrelink recipient?
Can you repay the loan?
What are the Loans Given For?
Loans are for the purchase of NEW goods ONLY, being generally for essential household items, such as:
Refrigerators
Washing Machines
Dryers
Furniture
Heating Appliances
Televisions
Personal Computers
Vehicle related
Health needs
Education needs
Loans are not available for rent or cash advances
